It took such a long time to get the preview pages refreshed this week. I have been struggling to get the JW Player to work correctly. But last night we seemed to have solved the problem. So I loaded all the new preview pages galleries and videos this morning. The design of the preview page still needs some tweaking. My main concern was getting the galleries and videos to work in the way they are meant to work. You can check it all out HERE. I love the new flash player. It starts up the videos so quick!
Some guys are blessed with a larger than normal penis. When I saw Donovan’s in his photos before I arrived in New York I knew I wanted to meet him and have him model for me. It’s the start of a long weekend here in Melbourne. So I’m taking the opportunity today to do some serious renovations on the site’s preview section. I’m amazed at how old the videos and photos are in the preview area. They must be at least 6 years old! So I’m going through all the more recent videos today to cut together some better looking preview videos that show off the guys and the action in the member’s area a bit better. I’m thinking of putting flash videos in to the preview section so people can get an idea of what’s on the site really quickly.
Oh… and it is also an excuse to post a few more pics of the gorgeous Saxon West in action with me.
I reckon Brazil must be such a fun place with all these hot guys there. It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit. But I think I would need to learn some of the language first. I’ve met a lot of Brazilian guys but most of them were in Europe. Like our new mate Bruno above. Bruno came and hung out at our apartment on our last day in Barcelona. He didn’t speak much English so I didn’t get to learn much about him. But he did know how to show off for the camera. One day I’ll get down to Brazil to check those guys out for myself.
It’s been a huge week! First there was the move of the whole website to a new faster server, and now I have updated the complex security system that protects the site from brute attacks. Did you know that every year the site gets thousands of attacks from automated password attack programs? Back in 2007 the site was attacked and passwords shared with hundreds of people. It brought the site down so no one could see it. So at the time I decided to invest in some security to protect the site so the people who buy a pass can log in and quickly access the videos. The attack and eventual shut down that happened in 2007 will never happen again. I’m really happy with the current security system. It detects attacks and password sharing and stops the activity very quickly. It’s really impressive.
Okay… so this post is kinda just about the geek in me! I love this stuff.
I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t get to shoot Levi Hamil during our stay in New York. I was busy doing another shoot at the same time. It was Zac who was the lucky one to get to hang out with the hugely hung Levi while he got naked. Zac did a pretty good job with Levi’s shoot anyway. It looks like they had a lot of fun and his video was pretty dam hot. I think you’re gonna like our sexy dancer mate just as much as we do.
This is pretty cool. I just noticed that my matest Kaleb Storm, Harry Louis, Fernando Kairon and the hugely hung Paulo Massa have all been nominated for awards on the Hookies awards site. I’m pretty excited about this news today. It has been a long time coming! Last year the most complained about issue with the site has been the speed at which videos download or stream. Even though my server host offered fantastic service, they were unable to fix the download speeds to Australia and parts of Asia. So last month I signed a contract for a new server provider. And over the past few days the whole website has moved home. My apologies to anyone who was unable to log in to the members area for a few hours.
Now that we are all moved and settled in at our new home, I can see that I can now get download speeds up to 5 times faster than I did with the previous server. The new server is larger and faster. It costs a lot more, but I think it will be worth it. Now I can start looking at putting up even larger format videos. This is a very exciting day!
So after having finished that winter trip to Europe, I decided to balance things out with a warm vacation in California. Since our visit to Palm Springs in April last year was so nice, I have booked in to go again! So for 8 days I’ll be floating around on this rubber thing at the Mirage4Men resort over Easter. And it actually turns out to be the White Party weekend in Palm Springs too. So we’ll most likely get along to a few of the parties during the weekend. I can’t wait! Only 5 weeks till I head to the US again!
